Young people taking part, with support from staff, will be responsible for planning, researching, writing scripts, preparing discussions, selecting music and running the control desk while doing live or recorded shows. Topics for the shows vary depending on world and community events and are tailored to suit the young people’s interests and influences that are taking part. The Youth Media Radio shows offer young people a platform for learning, creativity, teamwork, community contribution, confidence building and a safe environment for voicing opinions
